The gallery is in process of being updated with a few pics from the past month.
The boys have Preschool & Kindergarten Halloween parties Thursday & Friday respectively. We plan on trick-or-treating in Adel Friday night. Papa Larry and Grandma Mary are set to come up for the weekend too.
We’ve got high winds today, started ’round midnight when a small rain squall blew past and has continued through this afternoon. I woke up at 9:30 (bliss) to heavy sunshine, but also the squeaks & groans of the house getting battered. Weather.com says WNW at about 45 mph, gusting to 55 & 60. The tin roof pieces from the demolished chicken coop have been scattered across the back yard. Hopefully the rainy weather we had last week is getting blown away. Looks like we might have a partly sunny week coming up.
Symbolically, wind can represent change. In the coming months stewartville is definitely going to experience some change. I’ll try to keep the site up-to-date with a quick note and pictures at least once a month as has been the norm. During change, it can be nice to have a constant, and that is something the web can do… the virtual stewartville is staying put, we just renewed our hosting plan for another year.
